After - literally - running down the street to make it in time, we arrived for our first Flywheel class at the Gold Coast location.

A few notes…

The customer service could not have been better! We arrived late (right on time) & they jumped into action. Signing us in, getting our shoes & locker, taking us to our bikes & adjusting them & our shoes for us, since the class had already started & it was super dark inside.

The class was great. It was like working out in a nightclub! The music was SO FUN (& loud!) & the instructor was so motivating. The lights were off & I didn’t worry about anyone looking at me or feeling self conscious. I could just focus on the 45 minute workout.

And my ass - tho kicked - looooved the class.

Big, big props to my friend Anna for going with me. I know there are a million other things she would have rather done on her day off but this was sooo fun for me!

It’s expensive for sure - first class free, $25 per class after - but if Pittsburgh had one I would definitely be addicted.

I hadn’t even heard of Flywheel until a fellow Tumblr posted about their free experience a week ago! Sooo glad she did - because it made for a great (free!) Chicago activity.
