Guess who...
Called off work today… Went back to sleep… Woke up at 3 PM… And is still exhausted/sick? Ugh. This girl. Also, by the looks of my e-mail and the phone calls I’ve had to make, this was not the best day in the world for me to be sick and away from my desk.
Of course...
I woke up today in Ohio, on my last day of the holiday break, feeling like complete & utter crap.
Throbbing head, cold madness, achey body, exhausted.
Drove back to PA, made some Chicken Noodle Soup casserole (perfect for this sick, cold, rainy day), took a nap, worked online and now sleep.
Gym bag is already packed for tomorrow. I worked out five days last week but didn’t this...

Annnnd another one: Conversations at Home
Mom: Well are we leaving or what?
Dad: Let's eat dinner first.
Me: Where are you going?
Dad: To see the lights!
Me: What lights?
Mom: The Christmas lights.
Me: What? Where?
Dad: Heartwood Acres!
Me: ....But, it's not even Thanksgiving yet.
Dad: Yep! We know! No one will be there. We want to beat the rush.
Sometimes, My Dad is Just Clueless
(Overheard conversation between my parents, while my dad is watching the Penn State vs Ohio State game just now)
Mom: Is Penn State playing someone in Ohio?
Dad: Yes.
Mom: Is it the team from the place Kari always goes to?
Dad: No.
Mom: Is it the college we visited with her when she was choosing schools?
Dad: No.
Mom: Then where is it?
Dad: Ohio State in Columbus.
Mom: .....That's the places where Kari always goes to visit those friends.
Dad: Since when?
Mom: The past couple years - you know, she has all those friends out there she goes to visit. She was just out there for a wedding last weekend.
Dad: Hmph. That's the first I've heard of her going to Columbus. You mean she's been driving to Columbus? To see who?
Mom: Her friends!
Dad: Since when does she have friends in Columbus?
Me to my Dad: You have GOT to be freaking kidding me. Do you even know my middle name?! Where have you been?!

Interview/Preview of New Show →
The new show at our theater - it is in previews now, but opening night is Friday and I am so (SO!) excited to see Dreamy McDreamerson really shine.
You are definitely going to hear me gushing about work until December 18th.
Really. I mean - he’s even freaking adorable in interviews.
And Keith… Such a talent. His show is simply beautiful - all because of his idea/writing.
